I was listening to the most recent Mediaweek podcast (TV industry) and heard you mention a podcast I recorded with Adam Boland in the carpark of Movie World on Christmas eve.
Thought I might just drop you a quick line to contextualise what that was all about.
We do a radio show out of Brisbane on the community station 4ZzZ every Thurs night, 7-8pm called Televised Revolution. The show is dedicated to providing some analysis and discussion about the television industry, often looking at the business in a way that is accessible to our listenership.
We podcast the show through the website http://www.televisedrevolution.com - Adam Boland tends to listen to the show occasionally and he was kind enough to give us an hour or so of his time when he was in town recording a couple of OB’s for Sunrise. I agree with your comment that the audio wasn’t all that great, but we had to make do with the limited resources we had available to us.
Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the content of what we put together on that podcast. We’ve done a couple of other similar interviews with people in the industry, but I was particularly happy with that interview - Adams a really nice guy and someone we’d been trying to have an extended chat to for a while.
Keep up the great work with the Mediawatch podcasts. They’re always a great listen. The Michael Idato one particularly was wonderful.
